Route 1 SOFIA – RILA MONASTERY – PLOVDIV – BACHKOVO MONASTERY - SOFIA

Day 1 - Arrival at Sofia airport. Transfer and accommodation in a hotel in Sofia. Overnight.
Day 2 - Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of the city of Sofia including the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the National Museum, the Parliament, the National Palace of Culture, the St. Nedelya church. Dinner at Boyansko Hantche restaurant with fire dancers show / nestinari/. Overnight.
Day 3 - After breakfast departure to the fascinating Rila Monastery. After the visit of the monastery - lunch at the local restaurant. Continue to Plovdiv - the second biggest city in Bulgaria. Time at leisure. Accommodation in a hotel. Overnight.
Day 4 - Breakfast. Sightseeing of the old town of Plovdiv . Lunch at a restaurant. Departure to the Bachkovo Monastery. Wine tasting in the monastery. Return to Plovdiv. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 5 - After breakfast transfer to Sofia airport.

Route 2 THESSALONIKI – SANDANSKI – RILA MONASTERY
BOROVETS – KOPRIVSHTITSA - SOFIA – MELNIK – THESSALONIKI

Day 1 - Meeting at the hotel in Thessaloniki. Depart to the town of Sandanski. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 2 - Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of the city of Sandanski. Drive to
the Rila Monastery. After the tour of the monastery - lunch at the local restaurant. Drive to Borovets. Accommodation in a hotel. Overnight.
Day 3 - Breakfast. Sightseeing of the resort of Borovets. Lunch at a typical Bulgarian restaurant. Overnight.
Day 4 - After breakfast departure to the picturesque small town of Koprivshtitsa . Sightseeing of the houses – museums from the time of the Bulgarian Revival. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner in a mehana. Overnight.
Day 5 - Breakfast. Departure to Sofia. Sightseeing tour, visiting the main places of interest of the capital of Bulgaria. In the evening - dinner at Vodenitsata restaurant with a folklore show. Overnight.
Day 6 - After breakfast - departure to Kulata border. On the road - visit the small museum town of Melnik set at the foothills of the Pirin Mountains. The town is popular with the sand stone pyramids. Lunch and wine tasting at a typical Melnik wine cellar. Departure to Thessaloniki.

Route 3 SOFIA –KOPRIVSHTITSA- GABROVO – VELIKO TARNOVO – SHUMEN - ATHENS

Day 1 - Arrival at Sofia airport. Transfer and accommodation in a hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 - Breakfast. Sightseeing of the city of Sofia including the main places of interest. In the evening dinner at a Alexandria restaurant with folklore show. Overnight.
Day 3 - After breakfast departure to Koprivshtitsa. Sightseeing of the town. Dinner in a mehana and overnight.
Day 4 - Breakfast. Departure to the town of Gabrovo. Trip around the town, the unique ethnographic museum of Etara ,the old Bulgarian village of Bozhentsi and the town – museum of Tryavna. Dinner and overnight in Trayvna.
Day 5 – Breakfast. Departure to the town of Veliko Turnovo. Lunch. Sightseeing of the hills of Tsarevets and Trapezhitsa and trip around the old Bulgarian village of Arbanasi. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Breakfast. Departure to the town of Shoumen. Sightseeing of the heritage site of Madara and the second Bulgarian capital of Preslav. Lunch in the Bulgarian village of Osmar with wine tasting. In the afternoon – visit the Stud of Shoumen. Dinner and overnight in Shoumen.
Day 7 - Breakfast. Departure to Sofia airport for a flight to Athens.

Route 4 KULATA – BANSKO - BACHKOVO MONASTERY – PLOVDIV - SOFIA – MELNIK - ROZHEN MONASTERY - KULATA

Day 1 - Meeting at Kulata border. Drive to the city of Bansko and sightseeing of the places of interest. Dinner at a typical Bulgarian restaurant -mehana. Overnight.
Day 2 – Departure from Bansko to Plovdiv, on the road visit the Bachkovo Monastery – the second largest in Bulgaria. Lunch and wine tasting at a restaurant. Continue to Plovdiv. Accommodation in a hotel and overnight.
Day 3 - Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of the old city of Plovdiv. Lunch at a restaurant. Overnight
Day 4 – Breakfast. Departure to Sofia. Sightseeing of the capital of Bulgaria visiting the main places of interest. Lunch at a restaurant at the Vitosha Mountains Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner at Boyansko Hantche restaurant with folklore show. Overnight.
Day 5 - Breakfast. Departure to Kulata border. On the road visit the small town of Melnik and the Rozhen monastery. Lunch and wine tasting in a Melnik
cellar. In the afternoon – drive to Kulata border.

Route 5 ATHENS – THERMOPHYLAE – KAVALA – TROY – ISTANBUL –
PLOVDIV - SOFIA

Day 1 - Meeting at the hotel in Athens. Departure by bus to Kavala, past the
2500 years old battle site of Thermopylae. Arrive to the seaside resort of Kavala. Accommodation in a hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 - Breakfast. Panoramic sightseeing of Kavala, continue to Turkey via Galipoli, take the ferry across the Dardanelles to Asia Minor, visit the city of Troy, which was the scene of Homer’s Iliad and the legendary battle ground of Troyan wars. Continue to Istanbul. and accommodation in a hotel. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 3 – Breakfast. Sightseeing. In the evening - dinner with Turkish show at the Orient House. Overnight.
Day 4 – After breakfast depart Istanbul to Plovdiv. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner.Overnight.
Day 5 - Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of old Plovdiv. Lunch at a restaurant in old Plovdiv. Drive to Sofia. Accommodation in a hotel. Overnight.
Day 6 - Breakfast. Sightseeing of the city of Sofia visiting the main places of interest. Dinner at a restaurant with folklore show. Overnight.
Day 7 - Breakfast. Transfer to Sofia airport to take a flight back home.
