Wine and Dine Highlights

Initial point – Kulata border area

Day 1 - Meeting at Kulata border area. Transport to the town of Melnik-smallest Bulgarian town popular also with the sand-stone pyramids and the wines produced in the area, accommodation for 1 overnight and dinner in typical restaurant.
Day 2 - Breakfast, sightseeing of Melnik and visit to Damianitza wine-cellar and wine tasting. Lunch and departure to Bansko. Accommodation in Bansko for 1 overnight, dinner in typical Bansko area restaurant /Mehana/ and wine tasting in the restaurant.
Day 3 - Breakfast and departure from Bansko to Plovdiv, on the road visit to Brestovitsa wine–cellar, wine tasting and lunch there. Accommodation in hotel in Plovdiv for 1 overnight, sightseeing tour of the old town of Plovdiv and dinner.
Day 4 - Breakfast and departure to Sofia, accommodation in hotel in Sofia for 1 overnight, lunch and sightseeing tour of Sofia. Dinner with Bulgarian folklore show.
Day 5 - Breakfast, departure to Kulata border area and on the road visit to the famous Rila Monastery. Lunch in a restaurant near the monastery, departure to Kulata border area.


Initial point – Sofia airport

Day 1 - Meeting at Sofia airport, transfer and accommodation in hotel in Sofia for 1 overnight and dinner with Bulgarian folklore show.
Day 2 - After breakfast sightseeing tour of Sofia, lunch and departure to Plovdiv, accommodation in hotel in Plovdiv for 1 overnight, visit to Brestovitsa wine-cellar, wine tasting and dinner in the cellar.
Day 3 - Breakfast and sightseeing tour of the old town of Plovdiv, lunch and departure to Veliko Tarnovo. On the route visit to Etura Ethnographic Complex. Late afternoon arrival in Veliko Tarnovo and accommodation in hotel in Veliko Tarnovo or Arbanassi area for 2 overnights. Dinner in a typical Bulgarian restaurant.
Day 4 - After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Tsarevets fortress - Archaeological Reserve and Samovodska craftsmen’s area in Veliko Tarnovo. Visit to Liaskovets wine-cellar, lunch and wine tasting there. In the afternoon tour of Arbanassi village-museum. Dinner in a typical Bulgarian restaurant in Arbanassi village.
Day 5 - After breakfast departure to Sofia airport, lunch on the way to Sofia.
