National Sports Base Khan Asparuh - Equestrian Center The Centre offers opportunities for preparation of horses and riders in jumps and dressage for competitions, as well as for teaching of beginners. It is spread out on an area of 110 000 sq.m. The Centre features a 110-stall barn, on an exellent stabling area, incuding 94 boxes. Besides the competitive grass grounds, there are training sand grounds, an indoor arena (80 x 40 m), and a smaller indoor lighted arena (40 x 12 m); two halls for fencing and a shooting gallery for modern pentathlon; blacksmith and veterinarian work rooms. The facility has all the appropriate equipment for full training and competitions in Jumps and Dressage. Sport complex - "Diana" Diana Sport Complex is one of the main complexes for accommodation and training of Bulgarian, as well as foreign teams for pre-competitions preparation. Outdoor Swimming Complex with two swiming pools- 9 lanes (olimpic dimensions). Official national and international competitions in swimming, water polo, diving and synchronized swimming, have been held here; A grass field for football and tracks for athletics; Training halls for wrestling, boxsing, judo, weight-lifting,table tennis, fitness. Adjacent to the Compleh is the "National Sport and Healt" center of the ministry of Youth and Sport with complete up-to-date equipment for sport medicine and recreation.
