Veliko Tarnovo is a historical, cultural and tourist centre of the modern Bulgaria. Veliko Tarnovo is an intersection of transport highways, connecting the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia, seaside capital Varna and the biggest Danube port - Rousse.
Veliko Tarnovo offers you comfortable and peaceful travelling to any of the sport centre of the Summer olympic Games - "Athens - 2004". First historical data about the public and cultural development in the region of our town dated back to 5th-4th c.b.c. The Traki, its first settlers had cultural connections with whole Aegean world. The town had its peak in culture as a capital of the second Bulgarian Kingdom (1185 - 1393). During that period people living here had restored spiritual values, co-citizens of ancient cultures, forgotten in time. The glamorous capital of Bulgarian kingdom had met ambassadors from many countries. There had been busy international, cultural and economic contacts.
