Belmeken



The National High Mountain Sport Complex Belmeken is a unique high mountain multipurpose sport complex located only 140 km southeast from the City of Sofia. It is built on a plateau where the ranges of Rodops and Rila mountains meet, situated 2,050 m above sea level and is world famous with its ecological environment and picturesque surroundings. For a period of 22 years Belmeken has been the basic center for preparation of the best Bulgarian and former East Germany athletes in various sports.
